Executive Summary:
The City has been awarded a grant from the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police (NCACP) through the Performance and Wellness Grant. The Council is asked to adopt Special Revenue Fund Project Ordinance 2025-8 to appropriate $50,000 of grant proceeds for enhancement and support of performance and wellness for the fiscal year 2024-2025.

Background:
The Fayetteville Police Department will utilize the $50,000 of grant funding for software solutions to build strong teams with physically and mentally ready personnel. Items requested include a safety & wellness suite and a talent management suite used for performance development, team building, training and profiles.

Issues/Analysis:
The grant performance period expires August 30, 2025.

Budget Impact:
There is no impact on the General Fund fund balance.
