Executive Summary:
The Fayetteville City Council has requested updates from all City Boards and Commissions to report of activity, priorities and upcoming initiatives.
Background:
In 2019, the Mayor and Council established the Fayetteville Millennial Advisory Commission to advise and support projects and initiatives that attract a younger generation of residents to live and work in Fayetteville supporting a diverse and growing economy.
In 2022, the Commission asked Council to rebrand and rename the commission to the Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission to be more inclusive of forthcoming generations. Subsequently, the Commission engaged in a rebranding initiative with a series of successful and well-attended events.
Issues/Analysis:
This report serves to update Council on activities and initiatives since Council approved the rebranding of the Commission to include metrics, engagement and plans for future growth.
