The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during the meeting on July 22, 2026, approved the construction award for Ames Street 24-Inch Valve Replacement to T. A. Loving Company, Goldsboro, NC, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and in the best interests of PWC in the total amount of $534,750.00 and forward to City Council for approval.

The bid notice was advertised through our normal channels on June 06, 2026, with a bid opening date of July 7, 2026. Bids were solicited from two (2) vendors and two (2) were received. SDBE/ SLS Participation: T. A. Loving Company, of Goldsboro, North Carolina is not a small local or SDBE business. T. A. Loving Company anticipates $8,000.00 in SDBE Spend.

Loving Company, Goldsboro, NC, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and in the best interests of PWC in the total amount of $534,750.00 and authorize the CEO and General Manager of the Fayetteville Public Works Commission to execute for that purpose the contract for its construction.
