The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during the meeting on October 28, 2026, approved the construction award for Transmission Steel Pole Replacements for Tom Starling, Bragg Boulevard, Tess-Dunn Road, McArthur Road and River Road to Carolina Power & Signalization, Inc., Fayetteville, NC, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and in the best interests of PWC in the total amount of $4,187,000.00 and forward to City Council for approval.

SDBE / SLS Participation; Carolina Power and Signalization, LLC, is identified as a local business and located in Fayetteville, NC, and is not certified as an SLS, SBE, SDBE, or any other applicable business designation. Carolina Power and Signalization, LLC, has indicated that it will self-perform all contract work.

The Fayetteville Public Works Commission recommends that City Council approve the construction award for Transmission Steel Pole Replacements for Tom Starling, Bragg Boulevard, Tess-Dunn Road, McArthur Road and River Road to Carolina Power & Signalization, Inc., Fayetteville, NC, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and in the best interests of PWC in the total amount of $4,187,000.00 and authorize the CEO and General Manager of the Fayetteville Public Works Commission to execute for that purpose the contract for its construction.
