Bids were received for the purchase of Two (2) Prefabricated Relay Control Houses for Pod 5 and POD 1. The lowest responsive, responsible conforming bidder and in the best interest of PWC is VFP, Inc., of Roanoke, VA in the total amount of $1,009,762.00.
Background:
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during the meeting on September 9, 2026, approved the purchase award for Two (2) Prefabricated Relay Control Houses for Pod 5 and POD 1 to VFP, Inc., Roanoke, VA, the lowest responsive, and responsible bidder and in the best interest of PWC in the total amount of $1,009,762.00 and forward to City Council for approval.

Recommended Action::Recommended Action
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission recommends that the Fayetteville City Council approve the purchase award for Two (2) Prefabricated Relay Control Houses for Pod 5 and POD 1 to VFP, Inc., Roanoke, VA, the lowest responsive, and responsible bidder and in the best interest of PWC in the total amount of $1,009,762.00 and authorize the CEO/General Manager of the Fayetteville Public Works Commission to execute for that purpose the contract for its purchase
