Relationship To Strategic Plan:
Priority 1 - Ongoing commitment to a comprehensive approach to community safety.
Priority 4 - Evaluate and expand transportation and other connectivity for residents.
Executive Summary:
Desire for staff to research and present to Council how CIP projects like the King's Grant Second Entrance / Farmer's Road have ever been funded or could be funded at the local, state, and federal levels - to help guide our future efforts. Furthermore, I ask that the CIP committee, in collaboration with staff, present Council with a clear prioritization matrix detailing the criteria used in the decision-making process for CIP projects.
There must be other funding avenues Beyond CIP for Second Entrance / Exit Communities. It is also important to revisit how we prioritize funding for these projects.
