Bids were received for proposed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) – 5 MW Sally Hill design build contract, to Arcadis’ Construction Services and Arcadis G&M of North Carolina, Inc., the highest-ranked design-build team with an estimated budget of $12,000,000.00.
Background:
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during the meeting on September 23, 2026, approved the proposed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) – 5 MW Sally Hill design build contract, to Arcadis’ Construction Services and Arcadis G&M of North Carolina, Inc., the highest-ranked design-build team with an estimated budget of $12,000,000.00 and forward to City Council for approval.
