Background:
The City and Cumberland County Board of Education entered into an agreement to resurface the track at Reid Ross. The total project cost is estimated at $ $450,000. Upon completion, the City will be responsible for the maintenance of the track.
On January 26, 2023, City Council appropriated the City’s agreed-upon contribution with the State Direct Grant funding of $250,000, with the original Reid Ross Capital Project Ordinance 2023-14. Cumberland County is now contributing their agreed-upon contribution of $200,000.
