Executive Summary:
The Fayetteville Police Department requests City Council approval to enter into a 75-month master service agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. This comprehensive agreement consolidates existing digital evidence services and equips/refreshes the department with advanced public safety technologies, including updated Body-Worn Cameras, TASER 10 deployment, Fleet 3 in-car cameras, and the Drone as First Responder (DFR) program.
Background:
The Fayetteville Police Department utilizes Axon for its body-worn cameras, in-car cameras, TASERs, and cloud-based digital evidence management. Previously, these critical technologies were managed under multiple fragmented contracts. This master agreement combines those numerous contracts into a single contract. The approval of this item will authorize the Fayetteville Police Department to maintain its existing equipment such as body-worn cameras, in-car cameras, TASERs, and could-based digital evidence management, as well as implement the Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program.

Budget Impact:
The total financial commitment for this 75-month master agreement is $17,372,195.87. Funding for the Year 1 payment of $2,102,894.87 has already been approved and allocated within the current fiscal year budget.
