Executive Summary:
The Blue Street Senior Center Facility Renovation Project will convert the existing Senior Center into an office environment and rehabilitate the parking lot to support safe and efficient daily operations. The scope includes all necessary design, construction, and finish work required to achieve a functional, compliant, and aesthetically appropriate workspace.

Background:
The City intends to renovate the Blue Street Senior Center Facility to repurpose it from a recreation center into office space. The existing facility, while assumed to be structurally sound, is not currently configured or finished to support an administrative office environment. The renovation project will include updating interior finishes, reconfiguring interior spaces to provide an efficient and user-friendly layout, and making necessary improvements to meet ADA accessibility standards. In addition, minor exterior enhancements will be completed to improve the building's curb appeal and create a more professional and welcoming presence for staff and visitors. Planned parking lot safety and repair improvements will be addressed through a separate project and are recognized as a complementary effort supporting overall site functionality. This project aligns with the City's goal of efficiently utilizing existing assets while providing a safe, functional, and accessible workplace.
