Executive Summary:
Council is asked to consider the adoption of the related FY 2025 Budget Ordinance documents including FY 2025 Budget Ordinance, Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Fee Schedule, FY 25 Capital Project Ordinances and Amendments, and FY 25 Special Revenue Fund Ordinance Amendment. The ordinance also levies the ad valorem tax at $0.5795, the municipal service district at $0.17, the stormwater fee at $7.00 per month and the residential solid waste fee at $275 per year.
Background:
Fiscal Year 2025 Proposed Operating Budget
The City Manager's recommended budget was formally presented to the council at the June 1st City Council Budget Work Session. Council deliberated the recommended budget at four work sessions on May 16th, May 20th, June 3rd, and June 10th, and a public hearing was conducted on May 28th.
The FY 2025 Budget Ordinance documents including FY 2025 Budget Ordinance, Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Fee Schedule, FY 25 Capital Project Ordinances and Amendments, and FY 25 Special Revenue Fund Ordinance Amendment are being presented to Council at this time.
