Executive Summary:
Request staff to review and continue to review throughout the neighborhood choice grant implementation for opportunities to impact northern Murchison Rd since it is part of the Murchison Rd corridor. The request is intended to extend the leveraging of funds and investment throughout the entire Murchison Rd corridor; specifically northern Murchison Rd as a true part of the corridor from Fort Bragg, Spring lake, and those traveling from the west into town.
Background:
The neighborhood choice grant was awarded to this area to assist and improve the area, and the northern end of this corridor should be considered, as applicable, before other areas, as it has been historically an under invested area for years and the footprint of the neighborhood choice area is proximal enough to assist with leveraging resources and or opportunities to the northern side of Murchison Rd.
