Executive Summary:
The Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission was organized to advise, encourage, council, solicit, inform and promote the dedication and establishment of parks and recreation areas of all sizes and descriptions in all sections of Cumberland County. The commission is comprised of 7 members appointed by the Fayetteville City Council, 7 members appointed by the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners, and 1 member appointed by the Cumberland County Schools Superintendent. Members serve in a 3-year term.
