Executive Summary:
Bids were received to award bid for the 2025 Galvanized Steel Transmission Pole Contract. The lowest responsive, responsible conforming bidder and in the best interest of PWC is TransAmerican Power Products, Inc., Houston, TX., in the total amount of $1,146,202.00.

Background:
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during the meeting on October 9, 2024, approved bid recommendation to award bid for the 2025 Galvanized Steel Transmission Pole Contract to TransAmerican Power Products, Inc., Houston, TX, the lowest responsive, responsible conforming bidder and in the best interests of PWC, in the total amount of $1,146,200.00, and forward to City Council for approval.

Bids were received September 17, 2025, as follows:

The bid notice was advertised through our usual channels on August 21, 2024, with a bid opening date of September 17, 2024. Bids were solicited from thirteen (13) vendors and six (6) bids were received. PWC Warehouse and Electric Systems Engineering Departments requests the rejection of the non-conforming bids.
