Executive Summary:

This public hearing has been set to receive comments from the residents regarding the annual operating budget and capital and technology improvement plans proposed for the City for fiscal year 2026-2027. The notice advertising the public hearing was published in the Fayetteville Observer on Friday, May 15, 2026.

 

Background: 

The City Manager delivered his formal budget presentation at the May 14, 2026, Council meeting.

 

The budget and capital and technology improvement plans have been made available for public inspection on the City’s website at the following link:

Issues/Analysis: 

This public hearing is required by the North Carolina Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act. 

 

Budget Impact:
