Executive Summary:
Council is asked to consider the adoption of the related FY 2024 budget documents including Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Fee Schedule, FY 2023-2024 Budget Ordinance Addendum - section 15, Capital Project Ordinance 2024-1, Capital Project Ordinance Amendment 2024-1, and Special Revenue Fund Ordinance Amendment 2024-1. The ordinance also levies the stormwater fee at $6.00 per month and the residential solid waste fee at $265 per year.
Background:
Fiscal Year 2024 Proposed Operating Budget
The City Manager's recommended budget was formally presented to the council at the June 1st City Council Budget Work Session. Council deliberated the recommended budget at four work sessions on June 5th, June 7th, June 14th, and June 21st, and a public hearing was conducted on June 12th. The FY 2024 operating budget ordinance was adopted on June 21, 2023.
The FY 2024 Fee Schedule and the FY 2024 Budget Ordinance Addendum - section 15, and the Capital and Technology Improvement Project Ordinances are being presented to Council at this time.
