Executive Summary:
The Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Zero Waste Solutions for commercial waste collection services at Fort Bragg under the Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA). The IGSA was executed on February 13, 2025, establishing a long-term partnership between the City of Fayetteville and Fort Bragg for waste management services.
Background:
As part of the IGSA, the City has selected Zero Waste Solutions to provide commercial waste collection services at Fort Bragg. The contract, valued at $4,900,135.57, ensures efficient, compliant, and cost-effective solid waste collection and disposal operations.
