Executive Summary:
The FY26 Adopted Budget provided funding in the amount of $450,000 for the installation of a new splash pad to be constructed in City Council District 2. North Street Park has been identified as the location most suitable for the installation of the new splashpad.
Splashpad has been designed, and equipment has been received. An Invitation to Bid for the splashpad installation will be ready to be released in November. Upon awarding the contract and notice to proceed, the installation is estimated to have a 90-day construction period.
Background:
The FY26 Budget adopted by City Council included funding in the amount of $450,000 for the installation of a new splashpad to be constructed in City Council District 2. This report is to ensure that the project scope is in alignment with Council’s directives.
