Executive Summary:

Bid was received for the 2025 Composite Transmission Pole Contract. The bid for the 2025 Composite Transmission Pole Contract was non-conforming and was rejected.

 

Background: 

The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during the meeting on October 9, 2024, approved recommendation to reject non-conforming bid for the 2025 Composite Transmission Pole Contract and forward to City Council for approval.

 

Bid was received September 17, 2025, as follows:

Issues/Analysis: 

The bid notice was advertised through our usual channels on August 21, 2024, with a bid opening date of September 17, 2024. Bids were solicited from thirteen (13) vendors and one (1) non-conforming bid was received. The PWC Warehouse and Electric Systems Engineering Departments request the rejection of the bid submitted by the sole non-conforming bidder.
