Relationship To Strategic Plan:
Goal 2 - Economic & strategic growth
Goal 4 - Financially sound city providing exemplary city services

Executive Summary:
At the September 8, 2026 Council Work Session, staff were asked to provide additional information regarding the parking program and proposed contract. The questions and responses are summarized in the attached PowerPoint presentation. If questions have been satisfactorily answered, staff request Council provide consensus to bring the contract to a future Council Regular Session for Consent.

In total, our parking management services cover approximately 6.5 acres of parking, and over 2,000 City-maintained public parking spaces downtown. The timeline for the Parking Management Services RFP is as follows:

08/01/25 - Drafting of the RFP begins
11/26/25 - 91-page RFP issued
01/02/26 - Addendum 1 Issued - RFP Schedule revised
01/15/26 - Addendum 2 Issued ...
