Goal IV - Desirable Place to Live, Work & Recreate. Objective 4.1: To maintain public transportation investments with high-quality transit and airport services.
Executive Summary:
The City of Fayetteville has a Commercial Aeronautical Service Provider Lease Agreement with Signature Flight Support Corporation, dated November 1, 2019, as a Fixed Base Operator at Fayetteville Regional Airport. Under this Agreement, aeronautical services are provided to customers in the City of Fayetteville and surrounding communities at comparable rates for the area. The Agreement needs to be updated to reflect new rates at fair market value and added storage hangars.
Background:
On November 1, 2019, the City of Fayetteville entered into a Commercial Aeronautical Service Provider Lease Agreement with Signature Flight Support Corporation for Fixed Base Operations. The Lease Agreement specified the areas that would be included along with a rent structure payable monthly. Signature Flight Support Corporation operates the world's largest network of private aviation terminals, known as Fixed Base Operators (FBOs). They provide essential ground support services for private and business aircrafts, including aircraft fueling (and being the largest distributor of Sustainable Aviation Fuel), hangar storage, ground handling, and premium hospitality for passengers and crew.
