Executive Summary:
The Human Relations Commission's mission statement is "To facilitate and advocate programs, projects, and actions to ensure a better quality of life and the civil and human rights of all residents, regardless of race, sex, religion, creed, national origin, age, familial status, or disability."
With the assistance of Department staff, the Commission provides the City Council and County Commissioners with advice on improving human relations and encourages harmony and community unity among racial, religious, and ethnic groups.
The Department and Commission are going to provide a few key highlights.
