Executive Summary:
At the request of City Council, staff has developed a proposed option for improvements to the Arts Council Alleyway. This item is presented for review and informational purposes only and is intended to provide Council with an overview of the proposed scope of work and estimated cost.
Background:
The alleyway is frequently used by pedestrians and visitors attending Arts Council events. Council requested that staff provide a preliminary design concept and an estimated cost for potential improvements to enhance the space.

Budget Impact:
The estimated cost for the proposed Arts Council Alleyway improvements is $36,100. Funding has not been identified at this stage. No impact to the General Fund balance is anticipated at this time, as this item is presented for informational purposes only.
Options:
Council approves the proposal and provides direction on how to move forward.
Council rejects the proposal and takes no action.
