Executive Summary:
Bids were received for the ICP Mass-Spectrophotometer. The lowest responsive, responsible bidder and in the best interest of PWC is Agilent Technologies, Inc., Wilmington, DE, in the total amount of $152,696.72.
Background:
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission, during their meeting on July 24, 2024, approved the bid recommendation to award purchase of the ICP Mass-Spectrophotometer to Agilent Technologies, Inc., Wilmington, DE, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and in the best interest of PWC, in the total amount of $152,696.72. The Commission also approved to forward this recommendation to City Council for approval.

The award is recommended to Agilent Technologies, Inc. MWDBE/SLS Participation: Agilent Technologies, Inc., Wilmington, DE is not a small local or MWDBE business. Agilent Technologies, Inc. is the manufacturer of this purchase and intends to perform the contract with its own workforce.
