Executive Summary:
The Fayetteville Public Woks Commission during their meeting on May 9, 2018, authorized the termination of a utility easement.


Background:
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission during their meeting on May 9, 2018, approved the recommendation to terminate a 20 foot wide utility easement described in the Utility Easement recorded in Deed Book 10121, Page 537, Cumberland County Registry. The utility easement is no longer needed by the Fayetteville Public Works Commission since planned sewer lines have been rerouted.

The Fayetteville Public Works Commission requests the City of Fayetteville adopt a resolution declaring that the utility easement described in the Utility Easement recorded in Deed Book 10121, Page 537, Cumberland County Registry, is of no further value or benefit to the City of Fayetteville or the Fayetteville Public Works Commission and that said utility easement is terminated and abandoned and a "Termination of Utility Easement" will be executed by the City and recorded in the Cumberland County Registry.
