OBJECTIVE: To ensure strong financial management with fiduciary accountability and plan for the future resource sustainability by aligning resources with City priorities.

 

Executive Summary:

This public hearing has been set to receive comments from residents regarding the annual operating budget proposed for the City for the fiscal year 2018-2019.  The notice advertising the public hearing was published in the Fayetteville Observer on Thursday, May 17, 2018.

 

 

Background: 

The proposed budget was initially presented to City Council on May 4, 2018 and the City Manager delivered his formal budget presentation at the May 14, 2018 Council meeting.  The budget document has been made available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk, and is also available on the City’s website at the following link:

Issues/Analysis: 

This public hearing is required by the North Carolina Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act.
