Relationship To Strategic Plan:
Goal III: High Quality Built Environment
Objective D: To develop and maintain city street and stormwater systems to an established target of effectiveness and quality, improving connectivity
Executive Summary:
Capital Project Ordinance Amendments (CPOA) 2018-62, 2018-63 and 2018-64 will transfer $63,282 of remaining funds previously appropriated for the FY2016 street resurfacing project to the FY2018 street resurfacing project ($42,987) and the Ray Ave roadway extension project ($20,295).
Background:
Capital Project Ordinance 2016-1, adopted effective July 1, 2015, provided funding for the FY2016 street resurfacing project, including miscellaneous street improvements. This project is nearing completion, and it has been determined that $63,282 of the original General Fund transfer remains available.
Staff is requesting that $42,987 of the available General Fund funding in that project be transferred to the FY2018 street resurfacing project to allow for the award of the joint seal contract, and that the remaining $20,295 of the available funding be transferred to the Ray Ave roadway extension project to allow for the approval of a change order resulting from excess undercut excavation due to poor soil conditions for the subgrade.
Issues/Analysis:
None.
Budget Impact:
There is no impact to the General Fund, as the CPOAs will re-appropriate funds previously transferred from the General Fund in FY2016.
