Executive Summary:
This item was originally a Council Member Agenda Item Request from Mayor Colvin. The item was presented to City Council at the August 6, 2018 work session. Unanimous consensus of Council was to direct staff to move this item forward to the August 13, 2018 regular meeting agenda for official action.
Background:
Ms. Sharon Moyer, Community Engagement Administrator has requested the City of Fayetteville, adopt a resolution in support of the Community Child Abuse Prevention Plan. The Community Child Abuse Prevention Plan and Resolution are attached to this item. If the Resolution is adopted, the City of Fayetteville will be joining more than 400 organizations and individuals who have signed the Resolution to support this effort.
