Executive Summary:
Bids were received for the Beaver Creek Outfall Rehabilitation Phase I project. The recommended lowest responsive, responsible bidder is Insituform Technologies, LLC, Chesterfield, MO, in the total amount of $2,240,880.00.
Background:
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission during their meeting on September 26, 2018, approved the bid recommendation to award the contract for the construction of Beaver Creek Outfall Rehabilitation Phase I to Insituform Technologies, LLC, Chesterfield, MO, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the total amount of $2,240,880.00 and to forward to City Council for approval.
Bids were received on September 11, 2018, as follows:

Issues/Analysis:
Plans and specifications were requested by six (6) contractors with four (4) contractors responding. Insituform Technologies, LLC was deemed the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Local Participation: Insituform Technologies, LLC, will utilize Taylors Grading and Utility, Fayetteville, NC for site work, grading and seeding. Sunbelt Rentals, Fayetteville NC will be utilized for equipment needs.
Budget Impact:
Funds are budgeted in FY2019 CIP WS80 - Beaver Creek Outfall Rehabilitation Phase I - $2,490,000.00 was budgeted for construction of this project.

The Fayetteville Public Works Commission recommends the Fayetteville City Council approve the bid recommendation to award the contract for the Beaver Creek Outfall Rehabilitation Phase I project to Insituform Technologies, LLC, Chesterfield, MO, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the total amount of $2,240,880.00
