Executive Summary:
The Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) is requesting approval of a revised Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with all its' member jurisdictions, including the City of Fayetteville. The significant change in this revised MOU is the member from Ft. Bragg becomes a voting member, as opposed to a non-voting member, on the FAMPO Transportation Policy Board (TPB). Other changes include updating position title descriptions that had changed since the prior revision to the MOU. The MOU was recommended for approval by the TPB that includes City of Fayetteville members CM Dawkins and CM Wright.


Background:
The Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) has updated the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that exists between the FAMPO and its municipalities including the Cities of Fayetteville and Raeford, the Towns of Eastover, Hope Mills, Parkton and Spring Lake, the Counties of Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke and Robeson, Fort Bragg Military Reservation, and the NC Department of Transportation in cooperation with the US Department of Transportation, to include the Fort Bragg Military Reservation as a voting member.
