Executive Summary:
Staff will update Council on code enforcement issues at 5002 Collins Street.
Background:
The subject property was approved for demolition by City Council on September 26, 2022. Subsequently, at the November 11, 2023 Council Meeting, Council moved to authorize staff to contact the property owners regarding a potential consent agreement and provide an assessment at the November 27, 2023 meeting.
Issues/Analysis:
The attached email from staff to the property owners includes an analysis of the property.
Budget Impact:
None.
Options:
1) Instruct staff to proceed with the demolition ordinance.
2) Instruct staff to continue to work with the property owners and provide updates to Council.
Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that Council move to instruct staff to proceed with the demolition order.
