The City Council Scorecard and the strategic plan for a city are closely related and interdependent. The Scorecard aligns with the strategic goals, measuring progress and performance in specific areas outlined in the plan. It helps identify priorities, informs data-driven decision making, enhances accountability and transparency, and supports continuous improvement. By providing tangible and measurable data, the Scorecard ensures the city stays on track towards its long-term vision and fosters a thriving community.
