Executive Summary:
Council is asked to adopt Capital Project Ordinance Amendment (CPOA) 2024-12 to appropriate the required local match of $187,045 to the Terminal Renovations Phase III project. The local match will be provided by a transfer from the Airport Operating Fund.

Background:
Council accepted The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Plan Grant No. 3-37-0021-054-2022 for the Fayetteville Regional Airport, and adopted Capital Project Ordinance (CPO) 2023-8 on August 8, 2022, appropriating $1,870,450 of federal funds. Additional funding of $1,858,191, provided by the North Carolina Department of Transportation, were appropriated by Council on November 27, 2023. The FAA requires a 10% local match to their portion of funding for this project, which equates to $187,045. The local match is provided by a transfer from the Airport Operating Fund.
