Relationship To Strategic Plan:
Goal VI: The City will continue to have a collaborative citizen and business engagement base.
Executive Summary:
Due to a clerical error, Mr. Jay Wyatt was not re-appointed to the Airport Commission. There are currently no vacancies for which he can fill without Council action.
The Appointment Committee unanimously recommends Jay Wyatt for re-appointment.
Background:
On March 15, 2024 it was brought to the attention of the Clerk's Office by Airport staff that Jay Wyatt who, at the time served as the Airport Commission Chair, was in fact eligible to be re-appointed as he was completing his first term, not his second as was documented. Mr. Wyatt timely submitted an application for re-appointment.
Ms. Judy Dawkins submitted applications for multiple Boards and Commissions and was recently re-appointed to the Airport Commission. She has previously served several terms on the Airport Commission.

Issues/Analysis:
The continued participation by Jay Wyatt as Chair is beneficial to the Airport Commission and the airport while they continue to navigate final renovations and the future successes of the airport.
Budget Impact:
None.
Options:
1. Rescind the vote to appoint Judy Dawkins to the Airport Commission after informing...
