Executive Summary:
NCDOT is proposing to construct a widening project along Murchison Road between Pamalee Drive and the Fayetteville Outer Loop. At the May 7, 2019 Corridor Revitalization Committee meeting, NCDOT provided options to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians along this project. Their recommendation is to construct a ten (10') foot wide multi-use path on the east side and a five (5') foot wide sidewalk on the west side of Murchison Road throughout the project limits. NCDOT is requesting approval of a resolution that the City supports these recommendations. Upon approval NCDOT will begin design of the project including these recommendations.
